The NTIPDU Best Patrol Dog & Handler Team 2006

We are pleased to announce the winner of the NTIPDU Best Patrol Dog & Handler Team 2006.

This years best patrol dog & handler team cup was presented to Paul Whittaker, proprietor of Santos Security by NTIPDU director Charles Wall.

Paul has been a member of the NTIPDU for over two years. In that time, Paul has gone from being a GSD owner and working as a logistics coordinator to running his own canine security company.

With a 'little' help from his friends at NTIPDU, Paul now employs five full time Patrol Dog Teams at Liverpool International Airport. Like him, Paul insists that his handlers are accredited by the NTIPDU and maintain their continuation training without fail.

Congratulations Paul, but watch out next year, with an influx of patrol dog teams entering the NTIPDU membership and accreditations, the challenge for the title next year will be a very tough one.
